Town Water Bill Payment

PAYMENT OF UTILITY BILLS (TOWN WATER AND SEWER) PAYMENT OPTIONS

Pay Online

Rossburn Municipality is set up to accept online payments from Royal Bank and all Credit Unions. You can pay utility bills online by logging in to your online bank account and adding Rossburn Municipality as a "payee”. From a Credit Union account when you search "Rossburn”, there are three different vendor names: Taxes, Utilities, and Account Receivable. Be sure to select Utilities, and you will be asked to enter your 10-digit utility account number. Payees from a Royal Bank Account only see one vendor – Rossburn Municipality. Please use your Utility Account Number as your payee account number. You can find your utility account number in the top right corner of your utility bill. Only use the # of digits from your utility account required for your account number. You may need to add or drop 0's at the beginning or end. Payments made online are not instant and financial institutions can take 2-4 business days to process. To avoid late payment penalties due to this delay, we recommend you make online payments prior to the due date, as penalties will be applied if the payment is not received by the due date.

Pay by Mail

You can pay your utility bill by mail. Please make your cheque payable to the Rossburn Municipality. Detach and include the payment stub(s) from the top of your utility bill with your payment, as they include the account numbers required to process your payment. Keep the bottom portion of the utility bill as it contains your water consumption and meter reading numbers for your records. Ensure that you allow sufficient days for the postal service to deliver the mail as payment must be received or at the office by the end of the month, not the post office date.

Mail the cheque or money order to:
